Virtual Keyboard

version: 0.3.1

DESCRIPTION

This plugin protects user's password input and privacy from 'keyloggers'.
Keyloggers are hidden programs that captures any character pressed on pad.
Usually, these programs are not-well-intended, and are often used to get user's
password and then access personal information, such as confidencial e-mails,
for example.
If you work with public terminals, this plugin is very high recommended.

INSTALLATION

Read README.plugins in the plugins directory.

CONFIGURATION

Edit the config.php file.

TEST RESULTS

Based on the site http://www.keylogger.org I got many keyloggers. I tested
Virtual Keyboard and the result was very satisfatory.
Most of tested keyloggers captures data only from keyboard, so Virtual Keyboard
was able to avoid the keyboard and user can input his password safely.
Some keyloggers that captures mouse clicks was also unable to get the password,
because they only get the mouse click position on screen.

WITHOUT SOLUTION (NOT YET..)

Some keyloggers such as Perfect Keylogger by BlazingTools(r) (full version)
captures keyboard pressing and mouse clicking. It triggers screenshots at each
mouse click. In this case, Virtual Keyboard can NOT protect from this type of
action. The only way to make a protection level is to use a differente input
device, as fingerprint or voice recognition, for example. But these are recente
and expansive technologies, and is not accessible for everyone.
So let's do it latter for this particular case of protection... :-)
